"Cartas com Ciência" is a program of letter exchanges between scientists and students in Portuguese-speaking countries. During the 2020/2021 academic year, I had the wonderful opportunity to exchange letters with a student from São Tomé e Príncipe. Through this exchange, I not only shared insights into my work but also conveyed the idea that higher education is a viable and exciting path for them to explore.
